Price range: $300 for 2 hours, minimum.

Gig length: 120 - 360 minutes
I arrive at least half an hour before your intended start time (eg, arrive at 11:30 to start drawing/painting at 12), to ensure plenty of time for setup and placement within the venue.
We hire for a minimum of 2 hours per artist.
For transparency, we have 1 artist right now. We are using the royal we. Maggie does all of it.
If you require 2 or more artists, we will work to book local talent for you. In Sacramento, we know 1 other caricature artist, 2 balloon twisters, and 3+ face painters.
For Caricatures, I'll bring my own chairs and easel.
For Face Paint, I don't need any assistance or furniture. Let our chairs get glittery. :)
For Airbrush Tattoos, I only require access to a power outlet.
For Glitter Tattoos, I bring everything I need. Expect Glitter.
For Fashion Illustration, I ask that a table and chair be designated "home base" for the artist.
What you get depends on the services hired, but at a baseline: Our artists are very friendly and open to chatting. We are very tidy and hygienic, wearing gloves and sterilizing brushes for your safety. Caricatures are very quick and precise. We're also happy to be tucked into a corner, for services like fashion illustration. What's important is that your guests enjoy your event, and that we're a part of that.
You can expect 10-20 faces drawn per hour, for Caricatures. This is a "show" that guests can watch.
You can expect 15-30 faces painted per hour, for Face Paint, per artist. This is more hectic, but watchable.
You can expect 20-45 tattoos airbrushed per hour, for Airbrush Tattoos, per artist. This is closer quarters and too quick for a "show," for the other guests.
You can expect 15-30 tattoos glittered per hour, for Glitter Tattoos, per artist. This is fun for little kids to watch, but also very close-quarters and small-movements.
You can expect 5-10 fashion sketches drawn per hour, for Fashion Illustrations. Because they take longer, it's recommended that guests leave a photo rather than standing live for the drawing.
I've been doing Caricatures and Body Art for 18 years - I worked at a major theme park in San Antonio, TX for 12 years before going independent with my work. Recently, I moved to Sacramento! Loving it so far.
Making art is (obviously) a major passion of mine. I also write fanworks for my favorite shows and games and podcasts. I play tabletop games 2-3 times a week with my friends. Some of my favorite gigs to work have been the ones where I get to draw animals instead of people! It's a challenge and a delight. :)
My goal, when I'm drawing or painting for you, is to offer not only a beautiful souvenir... but a fun experience. What on earth would the point of any of these things be if they weren't *fun!* I look forward to providing fun to more folks here in California, in the years to come!
We prefer to be indoors when possible, but many events are outside. That's fine! Ideally, shade should be provided. If it cannot be, communicate this ahead of time and we will bring a (pink) canopy.
We can bring lights if needed for a nighttime event, but most of our services do need to be somewhat lit. Communicate the lighting situation to us ahead of time, especially in outdoor evening settings.
For UV Blacklight Facepaint or Tattoo events, please let us know if we need to bring our own lights. If there are plenty to go around, we'll happily use the ambient blacklight to work, however.
