Overview

Cubensis celebrates the Grateful Dead concert experience. Like the Dead, the band plays a wondrous amalgam of blues, country, jazz, electronic and rock and roll music, all in the space of about three hours on stage. No two shows are alike. As with all improvisational jambands, every Cubensis performance is an ongoing experiment. All eras of the Dead are represented, plus selections from the Jerry Garcia Band. Truly, there is nothing like a Cubensis show!!

Cubensis is awesome!

Guitarist Nate La Pointe and Keyboard Player Tom Ryan of Cubensis were spectacular! I hired these musicians as a surprise for my son's and his fiance's bridal shower, because they are both big fans of Grateful Dead music. Our guests of honor were thrilled! In fact, it turned out that Cubensis is their favorite Grateful Dead cover band! They follow the group and know all about them. It was perfect! All of our other guests loved the music, too, and a great time was had by all! Thank you, Nat and Tom!!! Dolly Monarez
