We like to present the client with a wide array of genres. Our focus is generally international, meaning that we jump from Brazilian bossa nova or samba to French chansons and Latin boleros to Blues/funk and American jazz standards. I find so many styles of music amazing that my goal is to incorporate many different styles together and add my own flavor to them.

We consider ourselves immeasurably fortunate that their stars aligned with our chosen date! Our wedding was a DIY endeavor…with demanding jobs and no coordinator, we were occasionally a bit tardy in nailing down essential details, including confirming a band and ensuring our sound system was in perfect order. Our initial correspondence with Cristina happened perilously close to our wedding day - oops!
However, Cristina's response to our predicament was nothing short of remarkable and a huge relief. She exuded warmth and enthusiasm, readily accommodating our requests. In an incredibly short time frame, she and her band not only agreed to perform but also learned our first dance song flawlessly, transforming a potentially stressful situation into a cherished moment.
Throughout the evening, nearly every guest I had the privilege of speaking to couldn't stop raving about the band. And with absolute certainty, they were right to do so! Cristina curated a timeless and eclectic playlist that seamlessly captured the ambiance we had envisioned - whether it was inspiring people to dance or simply creating an atmosphere perfect for those who preferred to sit back and savor the music.

Hi hi everyone 🫀 I am a Mexican American singer but have studied and lived in France, which has contributed to a lot of the French repertoire we play. I must’ve been a linguist in a past life because I love to sing in several languages and genres. One of my favorite things to do is take an older song (maybe a traditional Mexican song) and add our own twist to it, making it modern with either an electric guitar solo or something a little different. I would say the best way to describe our set is “eclectic” because we don’t stick to one style, but we take you all over the globe. Most of the band hails from Brazil so there is a lot of Brazilian influence in what we do as well. My first musical love was Jazz so there are also Jazz influences in our set but with time it has evolved into a mixed musical style . I moved to New Orleans from New York a couple of years back where I still play often with my New York City-based bands ( one salsa band and a jazz band) but am happy to call New Orleans home now and look forward to playing for you!
