Audience Members can expect top-notch costuming, carefully crafted personas and characters, exhibiting mind-bending physical skill. You may also see us interact with audience members, or interact with all kinds of new and immersive technologies.

Crash Alchemy is the creation of Agent Red, former world traveled aerialist, dancer, character performer, and experiential designer. Agent Red is a founding member of Lucent Dossier Experience and DC Juicy in Los Angeles, Creative Director of Experiential Design Firm, Clever Maven, and former curator of the Art Outside Festival in Austin, TX. Agent Red also Directed and produced with local aerial school Sky Candy, the epic aerial theater creation, Land Without Evil, in 2012, covered by Arts in Context on PBS and receiving the Lonestar Emmy Nomination for 2013 "Best Cultural Documentary.

Our performers are professionals with most of them doing performance for months or years all over North America and the world. We understand that a performance is a story - it's an opportunity to unlock the things holding us back and let go of the mundane - it holds the potential of mutual real-time transformation for the the performer and the audience.

Crash Alchemy was founded in Spring of 2013, have performed our full stage show at Art Outside 2013, Euphoria 2014, and other kinds of performances for Mirrorball and the Heineken family, Fiesta Flambeau, Lagunitas Couch-Trippin at SXSW 2014, and 2 consecutive SXSW StreetCrash flashmob style events, names "The Best Street art of SXSW", 2013. And we're just getting started!!

Crash Alchemy is an innovative and versatile project, providing entertainment that is always a transformative blend of interaction, physical skills, and over-the-top costuming. We don't just perform for your event - we craft a story - engaging the audience whenever possible. Too many times in Austin, we see skilled persons in their own world onstage. They may be twirling a hoop well or pointing their toes, but the full potential in performance comes with the two-way energetic exchange between the stage and the crowd or individual.

Crash Alchemy has some of the best skilled artists in Austin, Los Angeles, Colorado, and elsewhere - available for the following physical elements of performance:

Aerial Hoop, Fabric, Trapeze, Rope, Fire Trapeze, Straps, Harness, and Custom Apparatus
Contortion, Hand Balancing, Tumbling, and Partner Acrobatics

Flow and Fire, including, staff, contact staff, poi, balancing, juggling, wand, contact juggling, unicycle, Hula Hooping, meteor, rope dart, fans, torches, fire eating and breathing

Dance of all kinds, including Hip Hop, Modern, Contemporary, Ballet and Pointe, Jazz, African, Tap, Bellydance and Sacred Dance Forms

Roaming clowns, characters, and interactive activities. Live painting on event guests or any other surface you can think of.

Additional technical elements include video mapping, interactive technology, interactive animation, transmedia and multimedia, augmented reality, and fabrication for installations or as facets of performance.

Combinations of any of the above custom catered to you or from our existing cache of awesome! Examples being graffiti aerial performance, live painting and contortion, dance and animation, aerial bartending, and site-specific aerial and dance.

In addition to the utmost professionalism, amazing attitude, and refined physical skill from each one of our performers, you can expect the best costumes and aesthetic Austin performance has to offer, intentionally crafted themes and stories for each show, and a transformational experience for the audience. Guests and audience members take something special and personal with them, and that transformational force IS the Alchemy of the Crash, our namesake, and the most intense and common reaction from guests and collaborators.

Our technical rider varies greatly depending on the show. We do have an aerial rig, pulley system and motor available for rent. We also have a variety of video, power, lighting, stage surface, and sound requirements, depending on the scope of the gig.
