Country Gold Entertainment
Overview
Usually called "Genuine Jim"; I cover about 55 male artist's primarily classic country (Nashville Sound), oldie pop & r&b; sound, capture style of most artist's from Bob Seger to Jim Reeves, Merle Haggard, Kris Kristofferson, Dave Dudley. But I Am Most Likely The Closest Clone To Don Williams anywhere - age/appearance and sound. That would be my "impersonator" role. Can use CD player, karaoke eqpt or a backup band; do not play an instrument well enough.

What to expect
My closeness in spirit/sound/style to multiple artist's including Jim Reeves, Don Williams, Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, Dave Dudley, Kris Kristofferson, Eddy Arnold, The Big Bopper, Vern Gosdin, Pat Boone, some Elvis and a host of others. I will connect with the audience.
About
Former "karaoke legend" in San Antonio; have performed occassionally with a few country bands (Wilburn Bros., Jimmy Cribb)in the past and at several monthly "Opry's" around Texas, helping to preserve traditional country music. Consensus of musicians used to be that I was the sound of Jim Reeves (true on most songs)but in reality I am closer to a Don Williams clone. Very versatile depending on one's needs, to do a combo program of different country artist's, with/without oldies/r&b OR a tribute/theme program; mostly tunes from the 50s through 80s in any genre.
Cost would of course depend on distance travelled, type/size of venue and whether I or others provide all equipment. I also normally include a lot of history/dialogue to/with the audience for a full experience; finally, I can also serve as a DJ for an audience that wants to do karaoke with/without me performing on the program; for karaoke it would be using my CDs, about 1000 songs, mostly country genre.
Additional booking notes
It will depend on the venue, especially room size or if outdoors, mainly the sound equipment demands.
