Cory B. Clay & The Twains are a full tilt boogie Americana Country Rock n’ Roll band based in Venice, CA & Nashville, TN. The music swings with high energy train beat rockabilly anthems to sweet soulful country ballads to maximum rhythm & blues.
The band had it’s first show in 2009 at The House of Blues Sunset Strip. Since then the band has continued to entertain crowds in Southern California, Tennessee, Missouri & the greater Chicago area. In 2012 the band released an original EP, self titled, that has been very well received & continues to sell well. “Ol’ Huck Finn” was co-written with Shooter Jennings, and along with a few other tracks, continues to be a favorite on Sirius XM Outlaw Country. In 2012 & 2013 the band played to a crowd of over 2500 in Cory B’s hometown of Hannibal, MO. In 2013 & 2014 the band played to over 4000 at the Schlafly Hop in the City Festival in Saint Louis, MO.
This is the real deal. The band has been compared to The Stones, Waylon Jennings,, Eric Church, Johnny Cash, Kid Rock, Neil Young & Crazy Horse, The Grateful Dead and Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers.
