Michael Huskey’s Americana Roadshow

By nature, a blues/folk/rock player and singer I cover a lot of ground and work with all kinds of artists. From my Bluegrass/Country Western version of my Uncle Ferlin’s #1 hit “Wings of a Dove,” to a reshaped style on John Legends, “All of Me” and Chris Stapleton’s “Starting Over,” with Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Jim Croce and Tom Petty in between, I tell the story of Americana music through song and story. My family’s role in this story starts with my Irish/Cherokee relatives from NC, and on the other side, my Uncle Ferlin Husky, (dropped the “e” from our family name for the stage) from Missouri.
