Josh was incredibly flexible and a joy to be around. I was producing a very run and gun production and he arrived early, stayed late and was always offering creative solves. He was a pleasure to work with! Very professional and very funny :) Would hire him again!

Funny, charismatic, and great for business

I've had Josh work with me several times on corporate events - the most recent earlier this year for an all hands meeting with a client. There's always a bit of nervousness in booking a comedian for a corporate event, but Josh has a background in the startup and corporate world, which means he tailors the content to my audience.

It's not easy making project management or spreadsheets funny without making it dark, but he somehow makes it work each time,.

Hired as: Corporate Comedian, Emcee, Stand-Up Comedian

Amazing Time with Josh

We had the pleasure of having Josh Stramiello perform at one of our recent corporate events—and he absolutely brought the house down. It's not easy to make a mixed crowd of professionals laugh this hard, but Josh nailed it with his sharp timing, hilarious stories, and spot-on crowd work.

He was professional, easy to work with, and delivered exactly what we needed: smart, clean(ish), and wildly entertaining comedy that got everyone loosened up and having a great time. Multiple people came up after the event asking, “Where did you find that guy?!”

If you're planning a corporate event, team party, or just want to show your staff a damn good time, book Josh. Trust us—you’ll look like a genius for bringing him in.

Set list

As a stand-up comedian, Josh Stramiello doesn't follow a strict set list like a musical act might—but audiences can expect a smart, unpredictable mix of material built around real life, sharp opinions, and a deep understanding of human behavior.

Typical Topics Josh Covers:
The absurdities of the legal system (he’s a practicing lawyer)

Wild stories from real legal calls on his YouTube show Hardly Legal

Relationships, dating, and social dynamics

Observations about modern life, politics, and personal freedom

Philosophical twists and “big picture” jokes that leave people laughing and thinking

Josh adjusts his set depending on the crowd and the room, but his comedy is always high-impact, tightly written, and delivered with conviction. Whether you want a clean show or something with a little edge, Josh can tailor his material to fit your eve

Influences and inspiration

Josh Stramiello’s influences span stand-up, law, and sharp cultural commentary. He’s inspired by comedians who bring intelligence, edge, and originality to their work—comics like George Carlin, Bill Hicks, and Patrice O’Neal, who weren’t afraid to challenge ideas and say what others wouldn’t. He also draws influence from Norm Macdonald for his dry absurdity, Dave Chappelle for his layered storytelling, and Doug Stanhope for his brutal honesty.

Josh’s legal background and experience co-hosting the Hardly Legal YouTube channel add another layer to his perspective—he brings a courtroom’s logic and a comic’s chaos together on stage. His style is influenced not just by stand-up legends, but by the real-world weirdness of practicing law, taking calls from the public, and finding the humor in dark or complex topics
