Copper Tom is a full time children's music entertainer. He is also a certified teacher with a masters degree in education. His CDs have won national awards & his family friendly videos on YouTube are very popular as well.

Copper Tom was a good addition to our Summer Reading Program entertainment line-up. We had over 40 children of all ages (with their parents) and everyone had a really good time. Copper Tom played fun music that got everyone on their feet and dancing. The library was not quiet that day!

October 10, 2013Copper Tom at The Boonshoft Children's Science Museum
I had the priviledge of assisting Copper Tom with the stage set-up and sound during his performance at the Boonshoft Science Museum's "Voyage on the Parkway." This event was a children's learning festival in Dayton, OH. Copper Tom put on an outstanding show that the children (and their parents) enjoyed very much. He sang and played guitar, told stories, and danced. Almost all of the children in attendance left their seats to dance to the songs that were performed. Copper Tom has a very large catalog of songs to choose from. He played 3 different hour long sets at the event with each one being unique. Also, he sure knows how to work a crowd! And...he is a super nice guy who was fun to work with...heck, he even had me doing the "Little Tea Pot" dance and I'm 6'3" 240 lbs!

About
Copper Tom is a full time children's music singer,songwriter & recording artist, He is also an experienced & certified elementary school teacher with a master’s degree in education, & has recorded 2 award-winning CDs for children. One of his CDs- "Get the Beat!" won the Album of the Year award from the Kids Music Awards in 2011. His YouTube music videos- go there & search for Copper Tom - continue to get thousands of hits. He tours frequently throughout the U.S but spends much time in his home base - right here in Southeastern Michigan.
Copper Tom is available as a performer and as a music teacher. His pre-school show- "Let's Have Fun, Let's Be Friends!" is highly interactive with sing-a-longs, performance pieces, magic, puppets, games, dancing &, when appropriate, the remarkable "magic bubbles".
His elementary school age shows, for schools & libraries, are often geared to promote reading & are tied to the season of the year.
His "No Bullying Allowed!" School Assembly Programs for elementary schools have been a a hit wherever they have been presented from New Jersey to South Dakota & to multiple points in between. Several other themes- including cultural diversity & musical enrichment - are also available.
Additional booking notes
Need to be close to electrical outlet. Very little space needed for Day Cares, Learning Centers & Libraries. Elementary schoo shows can be presented from a stage or from floor level- in classrooms, auditoriums or gyms. A small trudy table is often helpful - along qwith 2-3 folding chairs. Cold drinking water for the performer is appreciated- but is not required. (-:
