Who is Consuela Allen?
Consuela Allen is a music maven exemplifying specialized knowledge in the fields of Music Publishing Administration, Internet Marketing and Social Media Strategy. She is also a songwriter, rap artist, producer and formally trained percussionist.
As an entrepreneur, Consuela Allen has been coaching music professionals and others on how to become Infopreneurs based on their direct experiences. She has consulted with entities from micro-enterprises ran by single individuals to a Mega-Church on how to identify as well as build brand value.
Consuela Allen has had the opportunity to work with very talented and successful family members Jerry Allen (father), Mr. Ku Dolla (brother), Decatur Redd (brother), Black Charm (brother), Versai Sain (uncle) and Kilo Ali (cousin). Suffice it to say that the Atlanta native grew up in a musically inclined family – always exposed to studio equipment and musical instruments. After the strenuous “boot camp” of composing music of a high standard that was finally impressive to her family members, Consuela Allen spread her wings to work with other musicians in various capacities.
At age 18, Consuela Allen co-produced a Dance Hall compilation (DanceHall Matrix) with her brother, Mr. Ku Dolla. This project featured reggae artists, Sean Paul, Beanie Man, Elephant Man, General Degree, Bucaneer, Red Rat, etc. She later met Antonio Clarence Mobley through a mutual acquaintance and after having her rap songs produced by Mobley, she became an understudy of him for several years – learning songwriting techniques of Pop and EDM. She also worked with Spice 1, Nivea, Pleasure P, John John (SILK), Archie Eversole, StampedN Chiko, Lyrica Anderson (King Me) and Darryl Allen (Mista) as either a writer, co-writer, performing artist, engineer and/or music producer.
Learning much about the music industry, Consuela Allen discovered that there were some characteristics which differentiated the “music industry” from “music business”. She moved into an administrative role working as the Executive Assistant for #1 Hit-songwriter, Jovii Hendrix. While in this position, she helped form FLIGHT38 Group, LLC and Flight38 Group Publishing – the latter receiving numerous BMI awards (its first within only 8 months). Consuela went on to work for SILK as their Executive Assistant. While in this position with the multi-platinum R&B group, Consuela wore many hats including social media administrator. She left this position to concentrate on birthing some inspired concepts through the platform of her own company.
As the Senior Consultant at MusicPlusBusiness and founder of 923 Marketing, LLC, Consuela Allen is currently developing marketing materials, audio courses and video courses for music professionals as well as Infopreneurs in other industries.
Additional Booking Notes
Not required but preferred:
The option of speaking at a podium as well as removing the cordless mic from the podium in order to walk the stage and get down into the audience.
I'm only in need of a stool some of the time for health reasons but this is not a visible issue that the audience will notice if I sit on a stool. Sitting on the stool is worked into my speech in a very practical manner during story telling.
Not required but an ear monitor is preferred so that I can hear myself if I leave the stage or walk away from where the floor monitors are positioned.
