Confluence

Confluence played at my art opening on March 15. There were at least 100 people attending and they loved the music- a perfect mix of lively Gaelic and Folk
medleys made the afternoon a huge success.

This band performed at our Contra Dance, where a good beat and lively fiddle tunes are crucial for a successful dance. Confluence provided excellent music and was easy to work with. The caller could teach great contra dances, knowing that the music provided would support the success of the dancers

Confluence is a fine band of trained, experienced, versatile musicians.
They draw from musical headwaters of deep tradition and have original tunes to offer.
From background music to stirring dance medleys the trio may treat you to 5 or 6 instruments.
The band is dependable, expandable, and able to handle their own sound amplification.
I have found them to be a delight to work with, dance with, or just listen to.

Jim and Willow Sirch and Gary Wikfors of Confluence are wonderful and talented musicians. As individuals, they are engaging and easy to work with. They know how to entertain and hold the attention of an audience. In setting up shows with them at the venue for which I book music, I've found that they are dependable and exceptional in keeping lines of communication open. They are fluent in various folk idioms. I highly recommend them.
