Compass Trio

Hosting the Compass Trio & watching them perform over the oast couple of years has been one of the most memorable musical experiences for us and our friends.

Their original compositions — blending sitar, tabla, and flamenco guitar — create a sound that is both meditative and electrifying. It’s not just music you hear, it’s something you feel.

They bring incredible artistry, but also warmth and humility that makes the experience deeply personal.

James, Tripp, and Galen were the musicians for my wedding this past September, and they were amazing! We couldn’t have asked for better musicians than Compass Trio. They were incredibly responsive and flexible throughout the planning process, and happily learned and performed custom songs that were really meaningful to us. They matched the energy of each moment perfectly, truly tying the entire event together and creating exactly the atmosphere we were hoping for. We received countless compliments from our guests about how beautiful the music was and how much it enhanced the entire celebration. Can't recommend them enough!

When I heard Compass Trio I was blown away! Beautiful music, that takes you to magical places. I also really enjoyed learning about their unique instruments. I think this trio is world class and everyone should hear them!

Saw them play live in Brooklyn. It was enchanting. They immediately set a calm and stimulating vibe, full of colors and imagination. The bring a huge and wide sound with just three players. The tunes take their time and explore more “floaty” moments with rhythmic groovy riffs and solos. Everything they play is in good taste and heartfelt. Definately recommended for any festival or small event, outdoors or indoors!
