Uzoamaka (Uzo) Nwankpa is a community health registered nurse, performing artist, dance facilitator, choreographer, educator, researcher and an advocate for healing through the use of the arts. Her work has been shared in numerous countries and cities across the world. She is dedicated to the preservation and restoration of the Igbo spirituality and various similar traditional African arts practices. Dr. Uzo is an assistant professor at a college of nursing in Oakland, CA and is the CEO of Wellness Promoters LLC.
