Your a fantastic, genuine, loving, person, that only God can give. I pray you much success, continue to help heal others through your love, laughter, and pain that has made you a awesome man. I pray for you and and your mother. I know she is so proud of you. You kept your promise to your brother, do the right thing and pray he asked for forgiveness before he left this world silently, only God could her. Born in Alexandria, VA in 1971, Travis Spencer grew up playing sports, using them as a deterrent from an alternate life, they taught him the demands & requirements of reaching one's personal best, and how to use laughter in dealing with adversity, life's ups and downs, and even himself.
At the young age of 25, Travis began entertaining audiences with his humor as a weatherman on a local TV station in Roane County, TN. Using various props to entice laughter from his audience while providing the forecast, this is where he realized his calling to perform and bring laughter through his common-sense comedy.
Travis first tried his hand at stand-up comedy in 1997, and has never turned back. He is versatile enough to perform in any venue; from family-friendly churches to more contemporary adult comedy clubs, molding his material to fit the audience. This 6'6" comedian is known for leaving his viewers bent over in their seats with laughter, and knows how to work a room, a hall or theater; all the while reaching the young as well as the young-at-heart.
Travis has performed his acts coast to coast, and is well-known in the comedy circuit, and has even been endorsed by Comedy Legend Eddie Griffin. He is also a seasoned Master of Ceremonies, having began as an MC for the Legend of Sports Charity Gold Classic, hosted by basketball's Hall of Famer James Worthy.
So, no matter the venue, whether you need a stand-up comedian, an MC who will add the flair of humor, or an inspirational public speaker who enjoys talking to the young ones, Travis Spencer never disappoints.
