Comedian Christina Thomas

I will provide a 30-45 minute comedy show for the customer. The audience is guaranteed to have a great time. I can do traditional Stand Up, crowd work, basically whatever type of stand up comedy comedy you want. No stage or lawn is too small. I have worked all types of events, parties and fundraisers. I would require a small space to do my set, but I do not require a stage. I have done backyard parties. I also have a small PA System if needed.

Between being in the military, being a lesbian, wearing hearing aids and having OCD, I decided it was time to try comedy because I have a lot of material to talk about.

After years of making my co-workers laugh at the lunch table, I decided to take the stage in 2008 and became a semi-finalist in the Catch a New Rising Star Competition at Twin River Casino. From there, I have performed at clubs and venues all over New England to include Comedy Connection, Comix at Fox Woods, Twin River and Mohegan Sun. I was a semi-finalist in the 2011 Rhode Island Comic Throw down, a semi-finalist in the Funniest Comic in New England Contest in 2012 and 2014, and I was a Quarter Finalist in the Last Comic Standing Contest at Comix Comedy Club at Foxwoods Casino. I have featured for many New England Comedians and co-headlined at Twin River Casino.

I am a retired Army Veteran of 25 years. I use my everyday life experiences to keep the crowd laughing and wondering what I am going to say next. I have high energy, unique stage presence and I use my ability to take any situation and find humor in it which helps me to not take life too seriously. Well that, and medication helps.

I am located in Rhode Island and will travel for shows. My fee ranges on how far I need to Travel, how big the audience is and how long of a set I do. I can discuss prices with you when we talk.

My style of comedy is always changing. I am animated and not afraid to stand on chairs, roll around on stage or interact with the audience. I can adapt to any audience ranging from 18-70.

I have done shows at the Zoo, Camping events, Christmas parties, Bachelor parties, and fundraisers. If the customer wants a show, I will provide a professional, hilarious show wherever they want to have it. Laughter is the best medicine and that is why I started doing stand up.
