We love performing at all kinds of events! With our extensive repertoire, we’re able to tailor our music to suit a wide range of occasions and audiences.

The musicianship in our band spans decades, with most members having performed in original bands and toured. Colleen & The Bleeding Hearts have been playing together since 2010, performing both covers and original music at a wide range of indoor and outdoor events across the GTA.

We typically arrive about two hours prior to the performance to allow for setup and soundcheck. Our standard format is three 40-minute sets, though we’re equally comfortable performing two 45-minute sets or two 60-minute sets, depending on the needs of the event.

Born out of Toronto’s vibrant music scene in 2010, Colleen & The Bleeding Hearts have been lighting up stages across the GTA and beyond ever since. Fronted by a powerhouse female lead vocalist and backed by a tight, seasoned lineup, the band delivers high-energy performances built on driving grooves, rich vocal harmonies, and arrangements that keep dance floors packed and crowds singing along.

Their setlist is stacked with rock anthems and sing-along favourites from artists like Janis Joplin, The Rolling Stones, Joan Jett, Tom Petty, Led Zeppelin, Bruce Springsteen, The Black Crowes, Fleetwood Mac, Blue Rodeo, Sheryl Crow, Ramones, Neil Young, The Cult, Jimmy Eat World, The Pretenders and more — all delivered with authenticity, swagger, and a whole lot of heart.

Versatile and crowd-focused, the band is equally at home on a festival stage, in a packed bar, at a corporate event, or headlining a backyard celebration. Their shows attract all ages — from couples and groups on a night out to birthday and holiday parties, university reunions, corporate gatherings, community festivals, and anyone ready to join in on the fun.

Colleen & The Bleeding Hearts pride themselves on keeping their set list fresh, reading the room and creating the right energy for every event. Whether it’s a high-impact rock set, a feel-good party vibe, or a mix designed to bring everyone to the dance floor, they know how to connect with an audience and keep them engaged from the first song to the final encore.

We require a flat performance space of a minimum of 20ft x 16ft to comfortably accommodate the band and equipment. If peforming outside we request that the stage be covered. We also need access to at least two 15-amp power outlets and a minimum of three nearby parking spaces for load-in and load-out. We provide our own back line.

We appreciate any details that will help us easily locate the venue and identify the appropriate area for loading in our equipment. It’s also important for us to know in advance if the venue has a sound limiter or any specific noise restrictions.

We can be self-contained and can provide our own sound equipment for outdoor and indoor gigs. That said, it’s always nice to perform at venues with a built-in PA system and an on-site sound technician. We don’t typically provide lighting, but we’re happy to arrange rentals if needed.
