Colleen Poe

Colleen played pipes for the retirement of URI's Research Vessel Endeavor. The ship was returning to home port for the last time in a 50-year career. It was a bittersweet day that brought a lot of old shipmates together one last time, and Colleen's piping could not have been better for it. She chose a selection of songs fitting to the nature of the event, and she played the heck out of them. We could hear her from the ship across Narragansett Bay, and it set the perfect mood for the entire event. I would highly recommend her for any important occasion, and I hope to hire her again some time down the road. I know I can speak for everyone who was there when I say we'll never forget it.

Colleen placed at our annual chicken wing competition. Needed a bagpiper for my wing presentation to the judges. Colleen played the music I had requested (ACDC/Drop Kick Murphys), and helped me to a first place finish. Colleen then played rock/celtic songs during the party and was a huge success. That Colleen got the vibe of the evening and really contributed to it, Iwe can't thank her enough.
