Al Roberts spent over 40 years coaching football. His experience includes 18 years with the NFL, 11 years in College ball and the remainder coaching at the High School level. He performed at the highest levels as an NFL special teams coach for the Cincinatti Bengals, St. Louis Rams, Houston Oilers, Philadelphia Eagles, and Arizona Cardinals. At the University of Washington, Purdue and University of Wyoming his teams advanced to Rose Bowl, Sun Bowl and Aloha Bowl games.
Al's impact can be summed up by the words of a young man who recently graduated from USC when he wrote, "Mr. Al Roberts Sir, I truly appreciate the MAN you saw in me. Thank you for all the instruction, wisdom and support."
