I mainly specialize in Close-Up magic. I can either stroll around during an event during cocktail hour for example, and be intimate with your guest or I can provide a formal Close-Up show.I have been performing at the World Famous Magic Castle's Close Up Gallery for the past 7 years and still a regular performer there.

June 28, 2021I had him booked several weeks prior to my party to make sure it would go off without a hitch. However, two weeks prior to my party, he mysteriously cancels on me. Luckily I was able to find another magician to take his place but overall not a good experience.

It is unfortunate that I had to cancel my performance on my behalf, due to a family business out of state that came up 2 weeks before the performance.
I did have a back up performer ready to go if the client wished to move forward with the substitute magician.
It is unfortunate that unforseen circumstances do arise and sometimes we can't do anything about it.

Hello, my name is Tam Vo, I currently reside in Southern California. I mainly specialize in the art of Close-Up magic, where the magic does not happen on a stage, but inches away from my audience, or even in their very own hands. I began my interest in magic at the late age of 18. After a year, I was accepted as a Magician Member at the World Famous Magic Castle in Hollywood, CA, and at the age of 25, I am now a regular Close-Up performer at the Magic Castle. I fell in love with Close-Up Magic because it is magic like no other. It is very intimate and personal to my audience. My main influence has been Lance Burton, the Magician in Las Vegas, who currently is retired. His magic is simple and pure. What he does looks like real magic. He also has a charming personality which has influenced me. Not only do other magicians influence me, musicians influence me as well. When a band plays on stage, you can see the passion they portray while performing. And I want to portray my passion for magic while performing for my audience.
