I like to arrive at least an hour prior to the performance to set up, do a sound check, and dress for the show. I use Bose L1 systems which take of a minimal amount of space and produce a clear, clean sound that fills the room. I typically perform 18-20 songs an hour, and I like to briefly share the unique stories behind a few of the older songs; I get a lot of "thank yous" from folks afterwards for doing that. I do not perform at outside venues between May and September.

I have been performing professionally for nearly 30 years, specializing in Traditional Country Music. I have a repertoire of around 150 songs which were mostly top ten hits ranging from the 1940's into the 2000's. When appropriate, for some events I will share the story behind many of the songs and artists. I always have people come up after my performance and comment on how they enjoyed hearing those bits of history.
In 2011 I was invited to perform at the Inland Days festival in Inland TWP, Michigan; they hired me again for the 2012 event. The Palomino Horse Breeders Association hired me two consecutive years to perform at their national convention In Tulsa, OK, and Choctaw, OK hired me to perform at thier Frontier Days Festival three years in a row.
I sing through a Bose L1 sound system which fills the room with sound without being overly loud, and the quality of the sound is phenomenal. At the clients request, I can also include Pop tunes by such artists as Frank Sinatra, Perry Como, Dean Martin, and Elvis Presley.
