Clementine the Clown

Clementine's goal is to let her event planner describe their vision, and then Clementine help them build upon it, based upon her experience with events and excitement for providing a wonderful party guest experience.

At the time of booking, Clementine reaches out to the client to get a good sense of their intended event: number of participants, any theme, indoor or outdoor, etc. We'll talk through any ideas or special requests that might impact the flow of a show or a set of balloon animals desired or any other aspect of the event.

A few days before the event, Clementine will then follow up, just to ensure that if anything has changed, she can tune and tweak as need be. She'll get any last guidance as to things like where to park, where to come in, and any needed transitions for things like birthday cake.

As the event winds down, Clementine will do a last check-in on-site with the event coordinator: is there some child who's shied away but would now like to get their picture taken or a balloon with the clown? She will never push to engage with a child (or adult!) who is more comfortable engaging from afar. Sometimes kids take a while to warm up, though, and _just_ get their courage up as a party is winding down: Clementine does her best to make sure that newfound bravery is rewarded.

Clementine is continually seeking new ways to help her audiences find their laughter, from finding and practicing new balloon designs and juggling skills, to training with former Ringling Brother clowns at the Academy of Circus Arts, and participating in her local and regional clown assocation. She brings that joy and enthusiasm to YOUR event, whether it be a community festival, a church outreach event, a business grand opening, or a birthday or graduation party... Clementine has a portable PA system, rated for up to 20 hours on a single charge. It allows her to use her wireless microphone, while simultaneously playing family-appropriate fun music or music to enhance her show. This is a set that's intended to support a small to mid-size show, not overpower other activities in an event. If a client has needs for a larger sound system, the wireless microphone transmitters Clementine uses are XPD2-compliant, and should integrate into a larger event space's technical kit.
