Overview
I have a very unique, intimate sound. I can sing in English, Spanish and Japanese. Or for a quick service, I could learn one or two songs requests to personalize your birthday party 🎉, with a month or less in advance. For a longer service, I could also just be completely instrumental and background if needed to create a joyful vibe on solo classical guitar. Lastly, my wife ❤️ is a singer so if your need is a female voice with thoughtful harmony on guitar + vocals, we can serve as a duo as well! 🎵

I had the pleasure of having Jason perform his classical guitar at my wedding during the cocktail hours. It was an outstanding experience, he brought great vibes to the crowd and his skill was exceptional. You can tell he's very passionate about music and naturally drew people's attention, bringing warmth and joy to our guests. I would highly recommend him to anyone who appreciates classical guitar or live acoustic music. It was a memorable performance that showcased both talent and passion.

About
I'm Jason Takaki. I was born in Long Beach California and I am Japanese American. I was gifted a classical guitar from a mysterious Uncle who kept a music closet locked away in our home for 17 years and he finally showed me the room and it was filled with Guitars and Violins and Sheet Music. It seems it was meant to be as he said "take your pick." I've played solo, with singers, bands, and now I'm performing again! I'm very fortunate to work as a public school teacher of band and orchestra. And very fortunate to be married and living here in Long Beach, California and create music with my wife!
Additional booking notes
If the gathering is small, we can just set up acoustically. If it is large we will need space to bring small equipment and electricity to plug in an amp, speakers and small sound system.
