I am comfortable performing commercial or classical music within an ensemble or as a soloist. I can also recruit other instrumentalists for woodwind quintets, trios, and other ensembles. I have played many events such as dinner parties and birthday parties.

August 18, 2022Lorin was incredible! As a funeral director I often come across situations that require me to outsource and hire individuals to provide services for families I am working with. With a funeral or memorial service I only have one chance to make things perfect, there are no dress rehearsals and when something goes wrong I am at the center of blame.
When looking for a live musician I came across Lorin who immediately responded to my request. She was communicative, patient and accommodating throughout the entire process. She was able to interpret the families vague music request into the perfect performance and was incredibly flexible with the families scheduling requests.
I will hands down always reach out to her for future live musician requests and have shared her information with my entire office.

Lorin was recently chosen as the 2022/2023 Seattle Symphony fellow for the Seattle Arts Fellowship where she will train to be a future leader in Arts Administration.
Lorin will begin pursuing her Doctorate of Musical Arts (DMA) in Flute Performance at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA with internationally renowned flutist and educator Donna Shin in the Fall of 2022. Her work and education remain centered on the fight to make the arts field more diverse, inclusive, and equitable for all.
For larger venue events, a speaker system will most likely be required. I can bring my own stand if need be.
I play what I am asked to play.
