Clare Cunningham

Clare Cunningham is an Irish-born, independent singer-songwriter and award-winning recording artist, known for her diverse musical range and powerful performances. Her work frequently explores mental health awareness, faith, and cultural heritage themes.
In March 2023, Clare made her GRAND OLE OPRY debut, sharing the stage with her childhood hero, Garth Brooks. That night, she was also invited by Steve Earle to perform a duet of his hit song ‘Galway Girl’.
Clare's exceptional talent has garnered widespread recognition, leading to numerous accolades throughout her career.
Most recently, she earned an impressive 9 nominations at the prestigious 2025 Red Carpet Awards Show in Europe, where she took home 4 wins as well as 18 nominations at the 2025 Josie Music Awards, held at the iconic Grand Ole Opry where she took home Multi-genre Artist of the Year.
Her Irish album, On My Way (Ar mo Bhealach), was nominated for “Americana Album of the Year” at the 2025 World Entertainment Awards.
In 2024, she was crowned “Entertainer of the Year” at the Josie Music Awards and also received a nomination for “New Artist of the Year” at the Inspirational Country Music Awards, held at the iconic Grand Ole Opry, where she returned to perform for the second time.
Her success in 2023 included winning “Best New Artist” and “Best Christian Song” at the World Entertainment Awards in Hollywood.

Before relocating to the United States in 2018, Clare gained prominence as the lead singer of the all-female Swedish rock band, ‘Thundermother’ which was signed to Warner Music Sweden. The band charted in Europe and received support from notable acts such as Motörhead, Zakk Wylde, Halestorm, and many more.
A devoted follower of her Lord and Savior, Clare's music is a testament to her profound faith and unwavering commitment to raising awareness about mental and brain health. Clare is involved in a lot of a reach ministry, including Recovery Church’s jail ministry working with vets and those that are less well off, spreading the gospel and bringing Hope to those around her.
