December 26, 2018Claire, and the other two musicians, were fantastic at my daughters' wedding. The wedding was quite a ways for them to drive, but they arrived on time and ready to play. Claire Burrell Herzog is a Springfield-local graduate of Missouri State University (Bachelor of Music Education, 2020; Master of Music, 2022). She has been a faithful student of the violin since 2003 and has been "gig-ing" since the age of 13. In the 2014 to 2015 season, she was the concertmistress for the Springfield Youth Symphony and was also their Concerto Competion winner/soloist.
Claire is an active professional violinist and classically trained singer (soprano) in the 417 community, and can help your musical vision come to life with a variety of options ranging from solo violin to jazz ensemble to bluegrass band to string quartet and many others.
In addition to performing, Claire spends her time passing on the knowledge and love of music to her voice & violin students at Evangel University.
