CJW Music

My name's Cody Weinmann. I have played piano, at first by ear from age 2 to 11. I have been classically trained in piano for the last 10 years. I have also been trained in jazz piano I run CJW Music, which is an organization that I put together as a way to provide covers, performances and original music to go with client's parties, funerals, school functions, weddings, and other important and not-so important or series events. CJW Music also provides sound design and music composition services to video games or video presentations at important events. Music is composed based on what the presentation embodies. If it is a lighthearted event, happy, party-type music may go in place of that. If it is a more serious occasion, I can compose the perfect music for the occasion. I compose and play many different genres of music from classical, to folk, to jazz, rock, and pop. I also compose and play music in an electronic, DJ-type fashion for any sort of electro dance or other party. I have sung and played piano for acts like Manhattan Transfer and other Festivals from San Bernardino to Diamond Bar and Pomona.

I am usually a solo performer unless other arrangements are made. I play piano and have my own studio set up for live sessions on Pro Tools while plugged into my keyboard or piano-type instrument that I use to bring original compositions to light in performance.
I also love to play and sing Jazz and Standards like, "All For One," "Blues for All," "The Girl From Epinepa," "Mackie's Back In Town," "Song For My Father," "Stray Cat Strut," and "Good Night My Love." I also play and sing rare pop gems like "All I Know," Mike Batt and Art Garfunkel's "Bright Eyes," and songs from Simon and Garfunkel's Bridge Over Troubled Water album. I play all types of Beatles songs like, "Hey Jude," "Let it Be," "Lady Madonna," A Hard Day's Night," among others.
I play and sing tunes by Eric Clapton (i.e. "Layla," "Bell Bottom Blues," and "Tears In Heaven"). I also can provide arrangements for any tunes I play. I regularly record original albums of instrumental, vocal and Jazz material that I think would make a great addition to a party, celebration or presentation.
I am best at on-the-spot improvisation. I can capture the mood of the occasion and come up with something that will sure fit that particular atmosphere. A lot of people who I have played for at weddings and other events in the past have needed walk-in music on the spot. I have been able to provide this every time.
What an event planner could expect from me is prompt and impressive and stunning performances, original songs, and affordable and prompt services, as well as prompt responses to all inquiries (typically within one day) confirming the status of the gig. I would also love to extend a hand for extended stays or services or repeat services at your next party or get-together. I am very personable and love repeat gigs.
