Circus of Hell provides jaw-dropping theatrical circus, fire and flow entertainment. We can offer solo, duet, and entire group performances and have a wide range of regular performers for you to choose from. Circus of Hell is a family troupe at its core, founded and run by fire performers Doug and Susan Thompson. The troupe has performed across Alberta and BC for the last several years, from festivals such as Astral Harvest and North Country Fair, to street festivals, medieval faires and sideshows, private events and more. They were even featured in the opening ceremonies of the Special Olympics and on international TV.
I cannot say enough about these people. Circus of Hell are outstanding entertainers who put on a unbelievable show! Very professional to deal with and go above and beyond for our event. Lila's Angels Travel Foundation is truly blessed to have this group of people on our side!
We have booked Circus of Hell in the past for our event, and they are great to work with and put on an amazing show! I highly recommend them.

Thank you Tina! We always appreciate how well Moose FM treats performers, down to providing healthy snacks. Pleasure to work with you too!

What to Expect
We offer memorable, unique and social-media worthy performance that will thrill and awe your audiences. Our performers are skilled at performing both as roving characters and for prepared and rehearsed solo and group shows. We often use unique fire and glow props and techniques unseen anywhere else. We will create a show custom tailored to your event and theme.
Circus of Hell was founded by Susan, a belly dancer, and her husband Doug, a welder and fire breather and eater. The two have often performed with their children, Trinity, a hooper, and Aurora, a contortionist and acro dancer. This family troupe has also hired and collaborated with a wide variety of other talented performers. The troupe has performed across BC and Alberta, and founder Doug Thompson has also been featured in a viral video and on TV's Outrageous Acts of Science. Doug builds many of the unique props used by the troupe, drawing on his long career as a professional welder specializing in high risk jobs. He has also made a name for himself in sideshow and with unique world records, such as welding with his nose and extinguishing the world's hottest flame on his tongue.
Additional Booking Notes
We are able to offer both indoor and outdoor performances. For fire we require 15' from the audience as per our insurance, a secure fueling area, sound system and mic, and a changing area. All fire permits where required are the responsibility of event coordinator, although we can inform and assist with the process. In venues and at events where fire may not be appropriate, we can provide glow or other circus props and performance. Other technical requirements may be discussed during booking.
