June 26, 2023Cindy made all of my musical dreams for my wedding come true. Being a musician myself, I had a big dream for the music for my own wedding, and Cindy was the perfect soloist. Not only does Cindy have a gorgeous voice, but she was so easy to work with and plan the music with. I cannot speak highly enough about Cindy and her amazing talent. Cindy Smith is a sought-after versatile and dynamic vocalist, with a broad repertoire, built around jazz, the Great American Songbook, musical theatre, swing, and old school classics. Cindy can customize a program to fit your needs, from a vocal/piano duo, or small combo, up to a full big band. She has developed her vocal styling over two decades on stages across the Greater Cleveland area and is a featured vocalist for several big bands, including the Swing City Big Band, Strongsville Jazz Band, Don Kubec Big Band, Jim Wonnacott's Little Big Band. She sings music of the greats like Ella Fitzgerald, Rosemary Clooney, Natalie Cole, Peggy Lee, Carol King, Bette Midler and many more.
In addition to singing popular music, Cindy is also available for wedding ceremonies. She is classically trained from Baldwin-Wallace College and The Music Settlement and was a 17-year member of the Cleveland Opera chorus. She brings 25+ years of training and experience as a Catholic Cantor and Soloist and is comfortable with both traditional and contemporary styles. She can provide music for a casual outdoor wedding or traditional service.
