Chubba Smokeybeard has led a mysterious existence. He has lived on both sides of the Atlantic ocean and brings his blues tinged hillbilly music to admiring audiences near his current abodes in the Northwoods of Michigan. Having spent his youth playing in restaurants, bars and festivals across the southwest, Chubba learned to play blues and country tinged slide guitar upon moving North a few years ago. He mostly plays original tunes with a few classic interpretations sprinkled in. He can provide the perfect old time bluesy backwoods charm for any event.

Chubba Smokeybeard has an eclectic past, having lived on both sides of the Atlantic, as well as the desert Southwest and the Icy cold north. Chubba learned to play guitar from a circus trapeze artist. Upon forming his own group 'Zoltan and the Fortune Tellers' he won a New Mexico music award (2019) and was featured in national radio hall of famer Dr. Demento's weekly show. He was also featured as a musician in Disney's 'Lone Ranger' as well as Seth McFarlane's 'A million ways to die in the west' playing cymbals and washboard respectively. Since moving north to Michigan Chubba has held down some regular small town brewery gigs playing slide guitar. His songs are all original, have a hillbilly bluesy feel and will keep just about any crowd entertained.
