I have always been turned off at the idea that you need to make people feel awkward or uncomfortable to produce genuine laughter. My jokes aim to be clever, witty, and harmless to the innocent. I am not one to pick on the crowd or make people feel like they're the butt of a joke. I believe the audience is there mostly to remain anonymous and have a good time. Chris Houghton is a Cape Cod kid with big dreams and fierce passions. He is happily married, a devoted son, and an experienced digital marketing entrepreneur. Chris has been performing for large crowds since his days acting in the Barnstable High School Drama Club, whose impressive program was featured in a docuseries by Warner Brothers in 2008. Chris' #1 passion is performing stand-up comedy. Having been inspired by his family and many professional comedians, Chris enjoys nothing more than helping people forget about the woes of everyday life by getting lost in a good joke. Chris is also a video producer, sketch comedy enthusiast, and started a sketch-comedy YouTube troupe called WorkTime Comedy out of college, whose videos have been viewed more than 10,000 times.
