I’m a super fun drummer. I love what I do and I have a great time whenever I get to play. I incorporate stick tricks, lip synching, and whatever else I can to incorporate the audience, all on top of minding dynamics and playing right in the pocket.

August 5, 2024Showed up on time and was very prepared. I hired them to backup an artist for a filmed performance. When the artist didn’t show, Chonk still helped set up and even gave me tips on how to fix a rental drum set I had that day. I will be booking again!

Not only did he drive over 120 miles to be a part of my "Let's Beat Breast Cancer" Rally, but he showed up early, was super easy to work with (he was self contained, no pesky questions of where to park and how do I set up, or this or that; he just "made it all happen."). Clearly, he's done this before and is a total professional. AND, I could see how much he enjoys playing (i.e. drumming). Not only is he an accomplished drummer, but his enthusiasm really came through. Bonus, he was able to mix and play with other drummers and percussionists that he'd never played with before and had only just met and he blended, and at times, led them through pieces beautifully! It was really something to watch (and hear!). I highly recommend him and will absolutely be using him again, next year, if he's not too booked up. He's THAT good!!

I offer a low maintenance drummer with years of experience, versed over a multitude of genres.
When I was 13 I made my parents buy me a drum set so I could be in a rock band with my best friend. Now Im in my 30s and I still love playing drums. My live drumming includes years of church drumming, rock/hardcore shows, several music festivals, and even hip hop shows. I also have studio experience with bands including The Sad Toms, Arlamae, Authmentis, and a church’s worship album.
My set comes with the snare/bass, double bass pedals, two toms, hi hat, ride, two crashes, and a china. I can use less if you want, but no more. I also dont prefer playing without being able to hear the rest of the band, so please try to have a monitor available. Other than that I just want a level surface-as I can bring my own rug too if needed.
