I'm a singer/songwriter from the "City that never sleeps"! My art form draws its influences from soul/neo-soul, funk, reggae, and R&B. I've done gigs at school events when I was in college, at churches, a handful of open mics, in the cars of New York City/Philly train stations, fund raisers, and Amateur Night at the Apollo. I also song write for other artists and record in the studio constantly. My goal now is to continue to hack away at my craft, perform, write, and record but on a bigger plateau such as singing at weddings, writing for major music moguls, and hopefully hearing myself on the radio one day. Music is my life and I would love to share my talents with you and yours.

What to Expect
I believe that you need an individual who can quickly grasp the objective of any task, patient, attentive, detail oriented, articulate and responsive to co-workers/superiors, and has great work ethic. You can expect an artist who isn't afraid to color outside the lines and someone who can bring all their life experiences and passion to fuel every performance.
Chike is a singer/songwriter who stems from the Bronx, NY but has roots grounded in Nigeria. As most singers, he started young on a church choir. Chike's inspiration comes from everything soul. From artists such as Nat King Cole to Donny Hathaway just to name a few. Before music, he went to the (SUNY) University at Buffalo where he majored in Chemistry and graduated with his bachelors degree. In his last year of school, he performed at a mock American Idol (UB Idol) where he came to terms that performing was his calling.
Notable performances include Amateur Night at the Apollo, and all over New York City and its subways. He has taken a leap of faith and brought his talents to California where in his first year he has landed principal roles in Sister Act and La Ronde and has numerous cabaret performances. As his artistry still evolves, he's on an endless journey to hone his sound and inspire the masses through storytelling.
Additional Booking Notes
I just want to have my hands on everything that I do. This to me means, that it takes a collaborative effort to make the dream work. Every hand in the pot makes the gumbo that much better.
I'm very open and can adapt to any situation.
