What I can speak to is that he was super reliable, great communicator, and very sweet and helpful. A pleasure to work with!! I highly recommend him!!

Chicago Latin Band offers flexible performance formats ranging from solo performances and acoustic ensembles to full dance bands with multiple musicians, vocalists, and horn sections.
Performance space, sound, and technical requirements may vary depending on the ensemble size selected and the nature of the event. For smaller acoustic performances, minimal setup is required. Larger ensembles may require access to electrical outlets, adequate performance space, stage lighting, and a professional sound system with microphones and monitors.
If professional sound reinforcement is not available at the venue, we may be able to provide sound equipment for an additional fee depending on the event size and location.
Load-in access, nearby parking, and a covered performance area are appreciated for outdoor events. Additional technical details and stage plots can be provided upon request.

Our musical influences come from a wide range of Latin American, jazz, and contemporary artists whose music has shaped both our sound and performance style. Influences include classic salsa artists such as Celia Cruz, Héctor Lavoe, Rubén Blades, Willie Colón, and El Gran Combo, as well as cumbia and tropical music traditions from across Latin America.
We are also influenced by artists and groups such as Buena Vista Social Club, Los Van Van, Juan Luis Guerra, Carlos Vives, Santana, and Marc Anthony, along with the energy and improvisational spirit of Latin jazz artists like Tito Puente, Eddie Palmieri, Chucho Valdés, and Irakere.
As musicians with backgrounds in jazz, contemporary music, and Latin American traditions, we bring together elements of dance music, improvisation, groove, and audience interaction to create performances that feel both authentic and engaging for a wide variety of audiences.
