August 25, 2023Chekera’s performance was beyond anything my family could have imagined and brought us so much comfort during a difficult time. Her voice is amazing and I could not have imagined anyone else performing our father’s favorite songs. Not many people can do songs by Whitney Houston and CeCe Winans justice and she did just that! We continue to get compliments about her performance.
We also appreciate that she arrived early and was flexible with the order of service. I look forward to working with her and her manager again. Wishing all Chekera the best!

April 10, 2023Songtress Chekera was nothing short of amazing as she ushered in the Lord during our Easter Sunday service. She is anointed, called by God and a delight to work with! Our congregation absolutely loved her anointed voice and her professionalism. She is a true psalmist who delivers on her word and you will not be disappointed. traveling and performing at a very early age, I knew this was my passion. After an amazing experience
of being a contestant on ABC- ‘American Idol’; - making it to and through Hollywood Week was not
enough for me. Shortly after American Idol, I was signed to Lifetime TV / Movies for a New Reality show
(Ms. T’s Music Factory) as ‘Chekera’ – a teen Pop Artist. I enjoy singing Pop, R&B, Gospel, Hip Hop and a
little Classical music as well. I separate myself from other artist because although my preferred Genre of
music is Pop/ R&B and Gospel, I successfully perform and love all different Genres of music. Most would
consider me a Quadruple Threat doing what I love to do while traveling throughout the United States.
As I continue to dream big and remain humble all at the same time, I thank God, my parents, my fans
and everyone else in my circle for encouraging me to believe that I can be anything I dream to be. I like
