I carve to various types of music and my creations end with the song.

There is simply no fruit or vegetable that cannot be carved into something dramatic and thus far I have demonstrated that any type of produce can be carved into arrangements or centerpieces that literally astonish.
Since 2004, I have owned his own company called “Chef Ray Presents” where I now spend my time teaching the specialized art form to a wide variety of professionals, and helping students release theIr artist within. “In order to be successful, you have to do something that wows customers and causes people to stop in their tracks and say, Whoa!” It’s important to find inspiration, so I seek out ideas and motivation from everything I see. When I go to the botanical gardens, it’s more inspiring than any concert or show, as I fully appreciate the colors and textures, which makes me want to duplicate the magnificence of nature in my food creations.” I perform at various food shows, festivals, and fairs throughout North America.
My students continue to win awards in competitions around the world which brings me a special satisfaction. I have also been the recipient of numerous awards and medals in national and international competitions, as well as competing on the Food Network. I am a member of the American Culinary Federation. With a lifelong mission to share his passion for food sculpting, I continue to explore the endless possibilities of artistry in all culinary mediums and uses his artistry to teach and entertain wherever I go.
