CHARMAS performs modern pop, R&B, alternative rock, soul, funk, reggae, ska, surf rock, and timeless classics to keep guests of all ages on the dance floor. Instrumentation includes flute, saxophone, keys, fiddle, guitar, bass, and drums. Additional musicians available on request.
For ceremony music, choose a soloist, duo, or trio featuring flute, fiddle, acoustic or electric guitar, upright or electric bass, vocals, or Great Highland bagpipes.

Charmas is a five-piece dance band (with trio or additional percussion options) formed in 2013. We perform a variety of musical styles, emphasizing audience participation and fun for all ages. Much of our repertoire consists of popular dance covers from the 1970s through the 2000s, but we also enjoy throwing in the occasional barn dance, sea shanty, or spontaneous jazz jam to get everyone involved and keep things interesting.
All members of Charmas are professional musicians, and most are also music instructors with experience performing in many different bands and musical genres. This allows us to offer an unusually broad selection of ceremony and cocktail music, including classical, folk, jazz, old-fashioned waltzes, swing-era songs, and singalongs for kids, so guests of every generation feel included.
Our core five-piece lineup includes flute, saxophone, fiddle, keyboards, guitar, bass, and drums, with the option to add bagpipes.
Some of our dance covers are a little unexpected, which often inspires squeals of delight. We aren't the kind of cover band that aims to play everything, but if someone requests a song we happen to know, we're always happy to play it.
