During a birthday party, typically, I find a way to 'swing' in, land and say hi to my 'super friends'. I'll have a few questions for the birthday kid, after that I'll go into some games, I typically inquire with the kids what they'd like to do as a group. For arrival timing, I've found that having a super friend drop in around cake time has worked the best and smoothest, as hero friends cutting the cake is always a fun photo and since the energy would be high by that time, a perfect time to burn some energy before cake.
