Cerrome Russell was born and raised in Sumter County, right outside the town of Americus, GA. After high school, Russell left his home to serve his country by joining the Marine Corps. It was while on active duty in Germany, that he first tried his hand at standup comedy. Cerrome starred in the 2nd Season of BET’s Hell Date as one of the most popular pranksters.Highest booked college comic from 2011 APCA National Conference Currently touring colleges and Military Installations, most recently on Army MWR's LOL Comedy Tour.

It is with great pleasure that I can report that Cerrome did a fantastic entertaining all my special guest. My guests were from five different countries, eight different states and ranged from ages 10-86. I have a bodyguard that has only cracked two smiles in three years. Because of Cerrome my bodyguard laughed out loud for the first in six years. I have received several calls from my guests expressing their delight with his performance. It was obvious that Cerrome possess a unique ability to read people quickly and tap directly into their sense of humor. He displayed an extremely high degree of excellence from beginning to end. He was very professional, on time and fully prepared. Cerrome made me look great, my family look great and your company look great! Cerrome was so funny that my 79 year old mother attempted to do his entire routine after he left. She is my mother, but she was not that funny.

We brought Cerrome in for our church's anniversary celebration and from the minute he took the stage, he was the highlight of the evening! His routine was perfect for our audience, relatable, and HILARIOUS! Our pastors laughed and laughed - which was a joy to watch. We will definitely consider bringing him in for future events.

I first experienced Cerrome on Twitter. Because of his awesome humor & his humble spirit I would frequently check to see what he tweeted. I recently got to see him live in Florida & just as I suspected, he was fantastic!!!!! Keep the funny coming Mr. Russell, you're doing an awesome job.....

Witty, smart humor. Good routine, easy to relate to the material. Emotes with the crowd and improvises well. Great experience seeing him perform, would do so again. Only complaint is that I wish it was longer!!
I have had the pleasure and honor to work with this comedian and I am very proud to say that he is a Gentleman and Hilarious. We both earned our International Badges at the same time. We went to Germany to entertain the troops. He was so funny they asked him to come back the next month.
His comedy is genuine, honest and from the heart. He can stand in front of any audience and make'em laugh and then make'em laugh some more.
