Celtic/Irish guitar and fiddle duo

Hands down one of the best events that we’ve thrown and hiring live music was at the top of our list. Wanting an “East Coast/Maritime Kitchen Party" theme was a must have and I had searched for a Celtic musicians on various sites. When Meghan reached out with an estimated quote in response to my location and length of time I was truly surprised that they were coming from 2.5+ hours away to play for us at such an affordable price. I took the opportunity to look at their website that Meghan shared in her reply and found their Spotify playlist (Seventh Town) for a sample of their music style. I was hooked, Meghan and Martin’s professionalism from the moment we began to discuss the event until the end of the party night was exceptional. Meghan lead me through all the planning details (length of time, style of music - lively, instrumental, vocal, etc., what type of party were we wanting to have) to the night of where they asked about volume and checked in if we were enjoying ourselves.

When being the host, you really depend on the help and support of those hired for your party in order for your event to be that much more enjoyable, not only for your guests, but for yourself included. That is what Meghan & Martin did for me and I cannot thank them enough for their kindness (They even complimented our caterer and thanked us often for feeding them! Ha!) They setup well in advance of the start time and were kind enough to let us use their sound system for quick speeches in the end, even with their long trip home. I can honestly say that I was in tears at one point because the event that I had been planning for so long was exactly how I wanted it to go, it was in large part because of the magical melodies coming from our hired Celtic duo. We have hired many musicians throughout the years with pretty much the same guest list and hiring Meghan & Martin was at the top of everyone's compliments. My guests asked immediately for contact info and I’m hoping to see them again soon in one of my family and friend’s backyards :)

Thank you Meghan and Martin for leaving us with priceless memories that will last a lifetime! Hope to work with you again in the future and we will will definitely be visiting PEC to see you sometime soon.

Meghan was great to respond to our request on GigSalad. The guitar player she normally plays with was not available on the day of our double birthday outdoor celebration. She agreed to entertain us solo with her fiddle! It was so enjoyable hearing her fiddle playing as our guests mingled. It was entertaining for the range of ages of our guests. Meghan even gave our young guests a intro lesson! We had a perfect day! Highly recommend!!!
