Lily Eckman Firuta is a full-time professional cellist with a Master’s degree in Cello Performance. Her performance background spans classical, contemporary, and alternative genres, with experience in studio recording, theater pits, and ensemble settings. She is the founder of Cello With Lily, LLC, providing live music for a wide range of events, including weddings, corporate functions, and private gatherings.
Lily also runs a thriving private cello studio, where she teaches a diverse roster of students, many of whom have gone on to earn honors and awards for their playing. She has studied string pedagogy extensively and is deeply passionate about nurturing young musicians.

July 28, 2025Lily and her team were absolutely wonderful to work with! Communication with Lily was so easy and smooth leading up to the wedding. Even though I arrived late to the ceremony, they continued to play beautifully without any fuss or disruption. They seamlessly took cues from my wedding coordinator and timed everything perfectly. Lily’s cello playing was especially soothing—elegant, heartfelt, and set the perfect tone for the ceremony. I’m so grateful to have had them as part of our special day!

December 15, 2024We booked a string trio through Lily to do our processional and cocktail hour. They did amazing and Lily was so easy to work with, very professional and had great experience and advice for me.
For the processional they had all of the songs and timing seamless. And during the cocktail hour they played a mix of Christmas and pop songs and my guests were gushing about the music and vibe. When they were done they quietly exited and were just perfect. I would absolutely work with Lily again.
