Overview
My name is Mandy Hofheins. I've been performing at weddings and events for over 10 years now and absolutely love it! I was classically trained and graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Music. I now have a private cello studio and also record professionally in Salt Lake and Utah Counties. I'm honored to be a member of the Orchestra at Temple Square and a member of the String Quartet, Souvenir Strings.
Something a little unique is my looping setlist. I create a live backing track on my cello and then play the melody of your favorite tunes over the top! It creates a full, rich cello sound with all the melodic lines of the song included. It's a hit!

We hired Mandy for our 10-year anniversary celebration, and she was absolutely exceptional. She performed both cello music and vocals, and she was truly phenomenal in each.
Her cello music brought such elegance and warmth to the event, creating a calm, beautiful atmosphere that set the tone for the entire morning. And her vocals were stunning , so many of our guests commented on how magical the music felt.
Mandy was professional, punctual, kind, and incredibly talented. She elevated our celebration in the most meaningful way, and we are so grateful to have had her with us on our special day.

If you want amazing live background and "walk down the aisle" music, this is your group!! They were very professional, and I loved all the modern music they played! My daughter got to have her favorite Elvis Presley song played while she walked down the aisle. Thank you so much for making her wedding so intimate and fun. You guys were just perfect!

Event Live Music arrived on time and started playing right on time. The bride took an extra 40 minutes to get ready and Event Live Music kept playing to make sure there wasn't any dead air while guests waiting.
They were amazing and the music was beautiful.

Price range: $200 and up
What to expect
I offer sound amplification, custom song arrangements, your choice of songs from my set list, and the option for loop cello, backing tracks or solo cello. I'm excited to work with you!
Additional booking notes
I have amplification including a mic if you need to use it for your event while I'm there for a fee. I have an effects board for my cello to make it sound extra cool and all other setup items except for an armless chair that I will need. It's a pretty easy setup and sounds awesome.
