Recently partnered with New York City based group, Impulse Strings, our experience, musicians, and professionalism also comes also from the finest stages/conservatories/venues in the NYC area.

Our goal is to provide quality music and professional service to your wedding reception, ceremony, cocktail party, corporate event, convention, or non-profit fundraiser; the possibilities are endless.

Originally founded by violist, Arturo Hernandez, in 2013 Sin City Strings has grown to play over 300+ events and is currently managed by Las Vegas native and NYC living violinist, Alexandria Pritchard (founder of NYC based group, Impulse Strings).

GENERAL QUESTIONS
What do you require at the venue? - One armless chair per musician.
How do the musicians dress? - Sin City Strings by Impulse Strings will show up in concert black by default, but special requests can be made.
Do you play outdoors? - Yes, however we do not play in extreme weather conditions such as rain, snow, or harsh winds.
Do you take breaks? - The musician(s) will typically take a short 10 - 15 minute break after each hour played.
Can you move from one location to another? - Yes. we often play in separate locations in one engagement. please consult.
What kind of payment do you accept? - Cash, Check, PayPal, Venmo, CashApp, Chase QuickPay, and Zelle payments that are to be made out to Alexandria Pritchard.
How should the service’s name be phrased on printed materials (programs, bulletins, etc.)? - Impulse Strings

What are your rates for studio recording? - Rates for studio recording services are negotiable.
What are your arranging fees? - Fees for arranging vary based on the project. please consult.

WEDDING CEREMONY QUESTIONS
Can you give me music suggestions? - Of course! please contact us for a repertoire list and a ceremony suggestion list.
Do you attend wedding ceremony rehearsals? - Due to our schedules, we rarely attend wedding ceremony rehearsals, but this can be arranged with an extra fee applied. Please be assured that we are adept at timing the music to the correct length.
By what date do I need to have my wedding music chosen? - In order for us to plan ahead, we ask that you have your final selections no later than two weeks before your wedding. We would be happy to assist you in your song selections.
Should I have music starting before the ceremony? - We recommend 15-30 minutes (“Prelude”) of music before the ceremony to be played as the guests arrive.
How will you know when to start the processional music? - We will need a cue from a wedding coordinator, a representative from the venue, or someone else of your choosing. We will seek out the pre-arranged person before the ceremony to confirm.
Do we need to time the music to our wedding? - No, we will time our music to you. We are experienced and skilled at ending pieces at the right time.
If there is a special song that I would like played, is that possible? - Absolutely! Impulse Strings wrights all of our own arrangements and anything can be played.
Do you need to rehearse with a singer? - Yes. usually we will rehearse with a singer 30 minutes prior to the prelude of the wedding. With additional time an extra fee may apply.
What if someone is ill, or some other type of emergency, and they can’t play? - In the event that a musician cannot play, they will be replaced by another musician of equal caliber, who plays regularly with us.
My wedding and reception are at two different locations. How do you charge for performing in two venues? - Additional costs may apply for travel and/or time. Please consult.
