Overview

Michael Johnson is a professional bluegrass musician of over ten years, spending most of his musical career with Serene Green, an internationally-touring bluegrass band from northeastern Pennsylvania. Since the band's dissolution, Michael moved to Pittsburgh where he has put together a new band, Catbird Bluegrass. This new project embodies a traditional bluegrass style, original songwriting through a modern lens, and the utmost professionalism on and off stage.
