Catalyst Red is a Christian rock band from Birmingham, AL. Our sound has been described as a blend of rock, funk, blues, along with a dynamic vocal harmony. We can play a full 2 hour show where we mix our original songs with other popular worship music (with our own unique twist, of course).
These guys can lead an amazing worship experience, as well as, rock the house. What a dynamic group of men being used by God to spread His word! Kudos to you guys for following God's plan for you. I hope you make it far!
Response from Catalyst Red:
Thank you so much for the kind words!
I would recommend them to anyone looking for true rock sound and clean Christian message. The band members are real nice and easy to get along with.

Catalyst Red's stage performance has been described as "engaging" and "entertaining." With all of the crowd participation and catchy tunes, we strive to create an environment that is appealing to all age groups. One of the biggest benefits you receive when you book Catalyst Red, is experience. We have been playing together for many years and have been able to develop a very tight and professional on-stage performance. Most of all, an audience member can expect to see a high-energy and up-beat rock show.
The band was formed in Chelsea, Alabama, which is a little town on the outskirts of Birmingham. The Catalyst Red sound is an amalgamation of many different musical backgrounds and influences, their main influence being God. The love of music is what started the idea for the band Catalyst Red, and even though the band is in their beginning stages, there are high expectations and equally high goals for where their music will lead them.
Catalyst Red won the Alabama Battle of the Bands in 2012 after competing with some very stiff secular competition.
"Soundcheck EP" is Catalyst Red's first album and is available now!
We use a Presonus StudioLive 24.4.2 digital sound board, JBL powered mains and subs, LED lighting, and aluminum staging.
We can cater a set list to each venue we play. The basic set list consists of our original songs, mixed with some well known covers. We prefer to play our original music now that it is becoming more recognized.
