The Performance & Repertoire
Audiences can expect a diverse and engaging musical lineup consisting primarily of high-quality saxophone covers of popular contemporary songs alongside classic jazz standards. This blend keeps the energy familiar and upscale, appealing to guests of all ages. If you have specific songs in mind, Carson can perform custom-requested setlists, provided these requests are submitted well in advance to allow time for musical preparation and arrangement.

Adaptable Energy & Stage Presence
Every venue and event has a different pulse, and Carson adapts his performance style to match your desired atmosphere:

Ambient Background Music: If requested, Carson can position himself subtly in a designated area or corner, delivering smooth, lower-volume melodies that allow guests to mingle and converse comfortably.

High-Energy Interactive Performance: If you want a dynamic show, Carson can step out front, walk the event floor, and actively engage the crowd with high-energy solos.

Note: Because these two performance styles require completely different setups and sets, clients must explicitly request their preferred presentation style during the booking process so Carson has adequate time to adapt the performance.

Professional Attire:
Carson understands that visual presentation is just as important as the music. He dresses strictly according to the specific tone of your event:

Formal Events & Weddings: Full tuxedo or formal suit.
Cocktail Hours & Casual Gatherings: A sharp button-up shirt or professional polo.

Sound System & Technical Setup

Carson provides a completely self-contained technical setup, minimizing stress for the event planner. He brings his own high-quality PA sound system, professional microphone setup, and premium backing tracks that deliver a full-band sound at any volume level. For larger venues or events with an existing production team, he can easily patch his microphones and audio directly into your house PA system upon request.

Known for his expressive tone, command of improvisation, and technical precision, Carson delivers high-quality live music tailored to upscale weddings, corporate functions, private galas, and premier music venues.

His musical foundation is built on elite competitive success and rigorous technical training. Carson made history as the first in his program to win the prestigious Outstanding Soloist title at the Texas State Solo and Ensemble Competition, delivering a flawlessly executed performance of the demanding classical masterpiece Pequeña Czarda. A multi-time State Jazz Ensemble selection, his talents earned him a highly competitive scholarship to pursue an advanced collegiate music performance degree, cementing his status among the top tier of rising woodwind artists.

Equally comfortable in high-pressure ensemble roles and as a featured soloist, Carson served as the Lead Alto Saxophonist for the Fort Worth Youth Jazz Orchestra, driving the saxophone section for one of the region's most respected large ensembles. His sharp reading skills and stylistic adaptability have also made him a sought-after guest artist. He has frequently traveled out of state to perform individually or with live bands for major concerts and weddings across Ohio and Oklahoma.

Carson’s deep immersion in the competitive Texas jazz scene has allowed him to collaborate with world-class talent. He has shared the stage and performed alongside renowned industry professionals, including acclaimed jazz trumpeter and educator Tito Carrillo. Furthermore, his command of the jazz idiom has granted him the opportunity to sit in and jam with elite players from the world-renowned University of North Texas (UNT) One O'Clock Lab Band, sharpening his improvisational edge at the highest academic and professional levels.

He is fully equipped to perform as a solo instrumentalist utilizing high-quality, professional backing tracks for cocktail hours, or to front live jazz combos and contemporary bands for larger gatherings.

Technical Requirements & Stage Plot

Carson Seabolt provides a professional, streamlined technical setup designed to deliver premium audio with a minimal footprint. Because Carson travels completely self-contained, his setup is highly adaptable to everything from intimate restaurant corners to large ballroom stages.

To ensure a flawless performance, please review the following technical requirements:

1. Audio & Sound Options:
Carson can operate under three different audio configurations depending on the size of your venue and production capabilities:

Option A: Self-Contained Setup (Ideal for Private Parties, Weddings, & Cocktail Hours)Carson will provide his own high-quality, professional compact PA system, wireless or wired saxophone microphone, and backing track playback device.

This setup is entirely independent and ideal for spaces without an on-site sound engineer.

Option B: House PA Integration (Ideal for Large Venues, Corporate Galas, & Festivals)

If your venue features an in-house audio system or a live sound engineer, Carson can patch directly into your system.

Inputs Required: Two (2) total channels on the house console. One (1) XLR input for the saxophone microphone and one (1) stereo DI or XLR line input for backing track playback.

Monitors: One (1) stage monitor or wedge is requested to hear backing tracks and instrument levels clearly.

Option C: No PA whatsoever.

If you would prefer quieter background music for a smaller group, the saxophone is loud enough to project itself without a PA for this.

2. Power Requirements

Dedicated Outlets: Access to at least one (1) standard 120-volt AC power outlet within 15 to 20 feet of the performance area is required.

Outdoor Events: If the performance is outdoors, the power source must be completely safe, grounded, and protected from moisture.

3. Staging & Space Dimensions

Footprint: A clean, level performance area of at least 6' x 6' is required to safely accommodate the instrument stands, audio equipment, and PA system.

Floor Performance: If you request a high-energy, interactive performance where Carson walks the floor or mixes with guests, a clear, unobstructed path through the venue seating must be maintained for safety.
