I’m Thor B, a saxophonist, singer, and entertainer with 35+ years of experience. I tailor every performance to your event, from classy background sax and Sinatra-style favorites with vocals to upbeat songs that get people smiling, singing, and dancing.
With 200+ songs covering oldies, classics, country, Motown, disco, rock, pop, and modern favorites, I play the music people know and love. I perform saxophone and vocals, take requests in advance, and bring my professional sound system. Whether it’s a 55+ Happy Hour, private party, corporate event, or special celebration, my goal is simple: make it a great time people remember.

Thor really makes the party! He knows how to make the crowd have a great time! He is very talented! My guests were in awe, he can play all types of music, from Christmas, Jazz, oldies, Christian, etc...we were singing along and dancing! I am going to use him for many parties to come! My guests cannot stop talking about my party, becuse of Thor. He came on time to set up and had good speakers and sound. You won't regret hiring him! I would give him 10 stars if I could.

About
Originally from Norway, I’ve spent more than 35 years making music as a professional performer, teacher, studio musician, and bandleader. Today, I’m based in North Texas, where Thor B Sax has become my new big chapter of my musical life.
I perform on alto and soprano saxophone, sing, and bring a one-man show built around music people already know and love. My repertoire of 200+ songs ranges from Sinatra, Nat King Cole and classic standards to oldies, country, Motown, disco, rock, pop and newer favorites.
I love moving through the audience, smiling, joking, singing with people, getting them involved and, when the moment is right, getting them out of their chairs and onto the dance floor. Other times, the event calls for something completely different: a suit, a beautiful saxophone melody and classy background music while guests talk and enjoy the evening.
Today I perform regularly for 55+ and retirement communities throughout DFW, as well as private parties, birthdays, corporate events and special celebrations. Those experiences have taught me how important it is to read the room and tailor the music to the people who are actually there.
After all these years in music, that has become the heart of Thor B Sax:
