Carrington Kelso

I pride myself on making any live experience intimate for all guest. I have a very large voice, but I know how to reel it in to entice an audience; to spark their curiosity. Wherever I perform I want those who hear me to leave with a sense of entertainment and wonder and that's what I bring to the stage every time. Depending on the atmosphere I can bring love, joy, sorrow, and peace with my voice and guitar. Give me a mic and a spotlight and I'll give you a show you won't soon forget!

Carrington Kelso is a Black, Queer storyteller who leaves it all on the stage when he performs. His sound has been described by listeners as “something you have to hear”. A beautiful blend of Pop, R&B, Soul, and Electronic; his passion can be heard in every lyric, every note.

Kelso’s musical journey started in classical choirs throughout school and moved into performance in college where he joined Georgia Southern University’s Adrenaline Show Choir. During his stint with Adrenaline, Kelso taught himself how to play guitar and started writing his own songs. After graduating in 2015, he released his first EP, T.N.T (The New Truth), with his good friends (and bandmates at the time) Christian Warner and JT Kuhn. The project has been described as wild, energetic, and passionate. These 3 had never recorded a project together and now they were hooked. Unfortunately, life happens and the band had to take a break.

Kelso returned to the studio in 2017, and in 2018 released his first solo album, Baptize Me. He has been playing in and around Atlanta, Ga ever since. Kelso is currently in the studio working on new music and cannot wait to share it with the world.

I generally travel with a decent size PA system for small-medium sized gigs. Should the venue be larger, I would require an adequate stage, a mic, a place to plug my guitar into the house sound, and a monitor to hear myself.
