Catherine started caricaturing professionally in 2004, and has since enjoyed drawing at Sea World, BMW Manufacturing, the Suwanee Festival and dozens of other annual festivals in GA, SC, and NC, Clemson University, Furman University, and the Miss South Carolina Pageant.
Guests are entertained and amazed as they watch Catherine capture the likeness of their friends and family in under 4 minutes. Her caricatures are "fun and friendly" - they are exaggerated but still flattering, so guests are happy to show them off. Catherine's caricatures add a lively element to both formal and casual events, and are enjoyed by people of all ages. She looks forward to making your event both fun and memorable!
Had about 300-400 event attendees and Catherine worked quickly and carefully. Really impressed by the quality produced and recommend to anyone hosting an event in the GVL area

Ok...a sports analogy for an art session might be a messy mixing of the metaphors, but Catherine truly knocked it out of the park at our event! It's rare to find someone with the perfect blend of personality, intelligence, and talent - people usually are heavy in one and weak in another. Catherine did an amazing job at our wedding. Admittedly my fiancé at the time of booking was on the fence about hiring a caricature artist. As my husband and I sat down for Catherine to do our cartoon, he revealed to me that he was so happy that we hired her. We both agreed that all of the guests loved it. Catherine was flexible enough to stay later at the reception. We are so happy with hiring Catherine. We would do it again!

Catherine was a part of our wedding reception and many guests said it was their favorite part. We had food, photo-booth, bluegrass band and trolley rides...so it was stiff competition! She was great! Interactive, fun, created a great conversation with everyone showing off their drawings. We could not have been happier! Thanks so much Catherine!
We're an assisted living community and hired Catherine to come in and draw some of our residents. She was very patient with them and listened to anything they had to say. All of our residents were pleased with her drawings and we will definitely book her again.

I'm based in Greer, SC and typically travel in a 90 mile radius. I draw my caricatures on 8.5 x 11 paper using chiseled art pens and can draw in black-and-white or color; each face takes 4 minutes or less to draw!
My bio:
I've studied art and performance ever since I was small, and I am now happy to caricature professionally and also paint in my free time. I started drawing caricatures in Sea World in San Antonio, and after I moved to the Southeast I started growing my personal caricaturing business by drawing at outdoor festivals. Weddings, corporate events, fundraisers, and other personal events soon followed and I've been busy ever since!
I am punctual and professional but I am also friendly when caricaturing. If I'm asked to draw bodies during an event, I like to talk with each guest as I'm drawing them, and then draw the cartoon bodies to match their personality. I prefer to have three chairs provided at each event, but I can bring my own chairs if needed.
I recognize the importance of clear communication when planning and event, so when you work with me you can expect my full attention to the details of the event and my role in the festivities.
