We found Candice through Gig Salad looking for an artist to play at our engagement party. Schedules didn't line up for that but we fell in love with her voice and ended up listening to her YouTube Channel throughout 2020 and 2021! So when it came time for my fiancé's birthday she was the first and only choice for a virtual (during the pandemic) concert to highlight our celebration! And it was an absolutely amazing performance by Candice that left everyone in tears! She communicates well, the contract process was super easy and she was so flexible and timely. She even added a surprise song to our set list! Amazing doesn't begin to describe Candice. She is ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!!! We can't wait to hire her for our wedding and see her live in her hotel lounge residencies when the world returns to normal!

My husband and I booked Candice Sand for our wedding in August and do not have enough words to express our gratitude - a massive thank you is not enough!
Candice and her band were amazing (our guests still talk about it!), and added the most amazing vibe to our evening. Not only are they exceptionally talented, Candice was beyond wonderful to work with. From initial booking essentially two years ago, through to our actual day (and all the changes in between), Candice was endlessly flexible, positive, communicative, and genuine. We want to say thank you SO much for navigating our ongoing postponements and ultimately still accommodating our day to be such an important part of it. We are so, so appreciative.

What to expect
Having performed for special events for over a decade, we know that every event is unique. We offer a variety of band sizes and options, which allow us to tailor the performance to your needs. Simply let us know the date, timing, occasion, number of guests, and the venue/location of your event (along with any other important information we should know) and we will be more than happy to present a few suitable options to you!
Here is a an overview of what to expect when booking us:
- STYLE OF MUSIC: We perform a majority of Pop, R&B, and Top 40 hits (current and classic) as well as a bit of Jazz if requested. Our goal is to perform something for everyone!
- TIMING: Each performance is split into sets (e.g. 3 hr performance = 3 x 45min sets with short breaks in between). If needed, I also provide a DJ playlist during any band breaks so the music never stops and you don't have to worry about a thing!
- SOUND EQUIPMENT: We are able to provide our own sound equipment if necessary. As well, for larger events we provide our own sound technician to ensure the sound is perfectly balanced for you and your guests. If needed we are able to offer staging and lighting as well.
- BAND SIZES AVAILABLE: We offer a variety of band sizes to suit most events and budgets. Feel free to refer to the live videos on our profile page for examples of each band size we offer:

About
Candice Sand is a seasoned and active singer, songwriter, and recording artist. She has spent the majority of her life immersed in music and has built her career from the ground up. Originally from a small town in Saskatchewan, she studied classical music at Brandon University in Manitoba and shortly, after she studied Jazz at Grant MacEwan College in Edmonton, Alberta. She later relocated to Toronto to continue making a life for herself doing what she does best & loves most: music.
Aside from her work as a recording artist and songwriter, she has always had a great love for performance. Whether she is singing her own original work or popular covers audiences know and love, she is happiest inside of a song.
Candice now takes the stage for 100+ performances annually at a variety of weddings, events, and venues throughout Canada. Among her most notable performances, she had the rare privilege of performing for Prime Minister Harper, the Mulroney family, & multi Grammy award winning producer David Foster.

SOUND EQUIPMENT: We are able to provide their own sound equipment. Pricing is dependent on the size of the room and the number of attendees. For our larger bands and for larger events, we also provide a sound technician to make sure the sound is perfectly balanced for you and your guests.
