We hired cakemixx for a 50th birthday dance party in the backyard. I provided a list of songs I liked and the general genre and Cakemixx added to it to make it a full night of dancing. Arrived on time and started on time. Very professional. Music volume was perfect. Lighting on dance floor was a little sparse but still added to the fun of a dance party.

What a pleasure to work with. The party music was a hit, with perfect transitions and a mix of what everyone wanted to hear. 10/10

Cakemixx did a great job with our sweet 16, she had great communication from the moment we booked her, she was able to Navigate a very diverse group of attendees (Teenagers, Young Adults, Adults, Elders, African American and Puerto Rican) and was on point with any request that were made, overall Cakemixx was great to work with and I would recommend her services in the future.

DJ Cakemixx was a true professional. She doubled checked about the venue and equipment necessary. She also asked about any admin needs (just watching the profanity in the music) and arrived early on the day of the event. She was very good about interacting with the kids and trying to make sure everything they wanted was met.

My husband wanted to give me a 50th birthday party. We were so happy that we hired DJ CakeMixx. She was very professional from the start, asking us about our musical preferences. Since we decided on a 70th party theme, we wanted music from the 70th and earlier, along with some music from our Belizean culture. She was totally on board with our music choices. She also let us know how to get in contact with her, if we have any additional request. I wanted a DJ who does not talk through every song and was able to play American music, as well as, music from my own culture and she totally nailed it by doing what we asked. It was raining on the night of my party, but she was still on time to set up and get the party started. She kept me and my guests on the dance floor all night. All of my guests love the music and had an amazing time. She did an amazing job. Thank you again DJ CakeMixx for a job well done!

I have been a follower of DJ Cakemixx for many years. What's unique about her style is that she plays to the crowd and NEVER disappoints. Whether she's playing Hip Hop or Reggae and Soca music, the crowd is always on the dance floor. If you want a DJ that is passionate about her craft then I highly recommend you hire DJ CakeMixx!

Best DJ I've ever had! Great playlist worked well with my needs. Was patient with my crazy ideas and was so nice. Had my guests dancing all night and even got people who normally don't dance in family to dance that night which is what I like to see and my guests were also happy and pleased. I would 1000% recommend for any party or event.

DJ CakeMixx has an amazing music selection. I have hired her for 2 completely different gig and she killed them both. First one was a mixed crowed and she shocked everyone with her knowledge of Latin music, reggae, dancehall, soca, cumbia, hip hop and r&b. The second one was a family reunion with my St Louis people. The killed it with the crowd. The crowd was as young at 5 months to as old as 85 years old. She had them all on their feet the whole night and all the music was clean (no cuss words)
